Description:
Relaxation massage and massage with aromatherapy oils.
Massage is a systematic, therapeutic stroking and kneading of the soft
tissues of the body. The word is derived from the Greek ‘masso’
to knead and the Arabic ‘mass’ to press gently. It has been
used as a form of therapy for thousands of years and touch is the most
instinctive response to pain.
Massage feels great! But not only that, research shows it reduces the
heart rate, lowers blood pressure, increases blood circulation and lymph
flow, relaxes muscles, improves range of motion and increases endorphins
(the body’s natural painkillers). It has been shown that office
workers massaged regularly have been found to be more alert, perform better
and have less time off work!
Essential oils, extracted from plants, enhance the relaxation massage
with their medicinal properties, the effects of which go on working on
the body well after the massage is over.
